This position will primarily be as a Chiropractic Assistant working with the doctors, but will be crossed trained as a Patient Coordinator for the Front Desk to assist if/when needed
General Requirements:
• Applicant should possess medical office experience including basic understanding of medical insurance, HIPAA, and medical terminology
• Must be physically able to work standing while assisting therapies for 10-hour shifts
• Must be a dedicated, hardworking, self-motivated team player who has the ability to multi-task and is willing to step into other roles when needed
• Strong patient relations skills needed and medical professionalism is a must
• Must be able to respect, take direction from, and work well with others in different position
Responsibilities:
• Assist the doctor with performing therapies and exercises with patients
• Assist with scribing patient chart notes and patient intake
• Front-office communication with patients
• Complete forms for outside referrals and MRI imaging orders
• Scan patient documentation
• Schedule appointments in person, over the phone, and through text
• General office cleaning
• Various other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma
• 1 year previous medical office experience - Physical Therapy or Chiropractic experience preferred
Pay starts at $16.00 per hour based on experience
